We hope you will find it helpful in learning more about our church.
Orthodox Faith — Anglican Tradition — Evangelical Witness
Holy Cross parish is an Orthodox Christian church in the Anglican tradition. We celebrate the Liturgy of the Holy Eucharist every Sunday morning at 10:00 AM.
Holy Cross parish is a traditional church. You won’t find anything new here. No liberal theology,... no evolving morality,… and no trendy worship. What you will find is a faithful, friendly and welcoming Christian community worshipping God in spirit and in truth.
The word Orthodox means both correct doctrine and correct worship. We are a Bible-believing church, seeking to live by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. Our worship is rooted in the historic Book of Common Prayer, commonly called the English Liturgy. Our Cantor and Schola Cantorum (Vested Choir) lead us in the ancient Gregorian chant that is used throughout our worship, and in singing the great hymns of the Church. Our preaching is from the Bible, and the Liturgy of the Holy Eucharist (the Lord’s Supper/Holy Communion) is celebrated every Sunday.
We are a real church family and enjoy many fun activities together, including fellowship and refreshments after Sunday worship, a potluck luncheon on the last Sunday of each month, and so much more.
Holy Cross Orthodox Church is located at 7545 Main Street in the Ralston suburb of Omaha, Nebraska. We have a spacious traditional chapel and an attractive parish hall, as well as classroom and office space, along with a large parking lot which includes covered parking. Everything is on one level so there are no stairs to climb.
We are close to the 72nd Street exit from Interstate 80 (I-80), and easy to reach from anywhere in Omaha or the surrounding communities. We are just three blocks west of 72nd and Main Street in Ralston. Our church is located in an attractive commercial building called Hillcrest Landing, with the entrance under the covered parking. Just look for the signs. You can’t miss us!
Everyone is invited to our Services and parish activities, and visitors are always welcome. For more information please visit our About Us page and explore the rest of our website, or contact us directly. We are a faithful and friendly congregation, and we have a place for you.
We hope to see you on Sunday!
